Child Development Programme

The Child Development Programme (CDP) is the official child-focused programme of the KFHI partnership. It is designed to support children, their parents, churches, and community leaders in fostering the holistic development of children as intended by God. The programme is implemented through a one-to-one sponsorship model, enabling sustained, personalised support for each enrolled child.

“When children grow into the individuals God intends them to be,
and when families, churches, and community leaders meet the needs of the children in their communities,
Child development succeeds.

The ultimate focus and measure of success for the Child Development Programme (CDP) is the well-being and growth of children.

  • Churches increasingly extend their care and ministry toward the children in their communities.
  • Community leaders progressively address the issues that affect local children.
  • Parents become better able to meet their children’s needs.
  • Children gradually learn to serve their parents and others.

CDP supports not only the child but also fosters positive transformation among the church, community leaders, and families surrounding the child. Through this holistic approach, the programme ensures that children receive the developmental support they need.
